Lutz CERT
About Us
Lutz CERT is a part of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue CERT which is the overseeing body in this county. We are a neighborhood CERT. It has been formed as there are currently no other active CERTs in northwestern Hillsborough County. As we approach hurricane season residents become more aware of the need to prepare and be able to respond to natural and other disasters that may occur in our area. As members of the Big Bend CERT we actively participate in their training, disaster drills, and other activities.
We are making CERT training available in the Lutz area so more residents can conveniently participate.
