Mobile Home Park Outreach Event

With approximately 5,500 mobile home parks in Hillsborough County, we have established a partnership with Hillsborough County Office of Emergency Management, Code Enforcement and a number of Hillsborough County Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) to be able to reach the MHPs to help them be better prepared for Hurricane season. The objective of this program is to minimize the risk of injury and provide residents with the information they will need to be better prepared for evacuation measures during a hurricane. Teams will go out into the community to bring a Weather Radio to the staff of each identifies MHP along with educational material to ensure residents have the educational material to better prepare themselves and their families.
